Oh the beauty of those days!
Not only did we have devotions 3 times a day
but we spent a lot of time just
sitting around talking with family.

We also went over many family pictures
and I have some work to do on digitizing some
old pictures and doing a scrap book...
And there were lots of Aunts who were
knitters.
Aunt L. and I spent a lot of time in spurts on
knitting and I had fun joking around saying
I bet you never knew someone who made an elephant's leg?!
as I was making the toy elephant for my
cousin's son.
Thankfully the Aunt knew a lot as the pattern I was using
was at times incorrect/unclear/misleading
and it was so fun to be doing a knitting pattern for the first time!

I also knitted lots of dish cloths and
gave them to some family and friends while I was there.
