A Celebratory Saturday

I went to a very sweet and lovely decorated baby shower today.
Then home briefly, then to vespers.
Then out to eat as I was not home to prepare food today.
I hope to cook next week....
I am grateful for God's mercy and that we have hope.
I read this verse today which I always love reading
and find so much hope it...
We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable,
and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place,
until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

I love that verse too! Thank you for sharing your day filled with lovely tea, a wonderful celebration, Vespers, and good food. Food for the body and food for the soul. Sounds about perfect to me.

Yes, a beautiful verse! The morning star is coming, isn't He? The season is almost upon us.

How pretty are all those flowers used to decorate a sweet baby's shower. And the tea atop the pretty quilts is lovely. Thank you for sharing that verse. It hits home on this wonderful Lord's day. A sermon preached by a young intern at church had a message that fits with that verse very well.
