Cleo has had more milk and ice cream than...

...than she every has...
she scared Mr Husband this morning,
he could not find her anywhere,
I was still sleeping...
after a long search, he found her laying quietly in her cat carrier!
I had not thought to tell him that she was in it yesterday morning
because I forgot as she went to the laundry room for the day after that.
Well, today she stayed in the carrier other than to get food and ice cream,
or to ask for more wet cat food/milk/french vanilla ice cream.
At one point I thought she was only going to have ice cream,
she ignored her favourite wet cat food for hours and then suddenly
started eating it again.
She continues to grow thin.
***
Well, I did managed many loads of laundry today,
read Psalms, Prayers, talked with my friend who came over
and read various pages of books.
And, I admit, watched more Perry Mason; it's like a numbing agent in this
process of grief, of losing my beloved Cleo cat.
So bear with me, Cleo has been one of my most constant companions
for about/just over 1/4 of my life... and anyone who reads my blog has
seen a lot of Cleo over the years...
***
I will try to write on what I am reading at some point, I do have a few good books
going/started and am thankful for everything.
***
God bless each of you!

I suppose Cleo sees her cat carrier as a sort of refuge. Nice that she still enjoys her favourite foods.

Dear Elizabeth, I am so sorry about your beautiful Cleo. Knowing that particular heartbreak and grief very well, I send you a big hug, and share your tears. You have given Cleo a lovely life filled with your love and care. That's not much comfort when we miss their presence, I know. God bless.
