Lent Day 17 ~ how quickly the days pass

We are making progress!
Mr Husband was able to work a full day at home.
We are still coughing some, but it is not as congested now!
I enjoyed leftover lentil soup from the diner + fries for lunch.
I was able to do laundry, some family paperwork
and reorganized our main shelf in the linen closet
(I feel like every time I open that closet door,
somehow all the towels have gotten disheveled again).
It's Mr Husband's birthday soon.
I am dreaming of BAKING...
birthday cake for Mr Husband
I asked my beloved Mr Husband what he wants for his
birthday meal...
he's informed me that he wishes to have
shellfish for dinner....
Any suggestions on what to make with shellfish?
Well, hoping that tomorrow will find us another step towards
full health again!
My Grandma still is not over her own sinus infection -
please say a prayer for her.
I am so thankful for all that we have been given!
Well, that's Lent day 17!

It's so great to hear about your recovery (in progress). And I love your linen closet.

The flu is such a thunderbolt. I'm so glad you're getting better every day.

Maybe do a shrimp stir-fry! Trader Joe's has a nice pre-packaged one that you just put in the pan and make up. (You could add soy sauce, but it comes with a nice little seasoning packet that Fr. Dcn says is good). Add some rice and good to go. You could even get the pre-steamed kind that TJ's sells in the dry goods aisle.

Have you pondered paring down your linen closet to help keep it in line? I find less stuff=less stuff to fall over and make piles in the closet. :)
