Fall Flowers

I found these flowers fascinating to photograph.

Twin flowers, half eaten.

These flowers have a very present and waiting look to them.

I love the shape of the petals and how similar but yet individual

the flowers are.

It was sunny when taking these pictures;

yet you can feel from them that it is now autumn,

and that summer has fled away

so quickly.
