Mr. Husband's sister, who is with his parents while
his father recovers from his
surgery, emailed us late this afternoon:
Dad came out of anesthesia singing and laughing, telling jokes, and witnessing to anyone who came in contact with him. I just left mom and him at the hospital and he is supposed to be discharged early tomorrow morning.
I was so relieved and encouraged to get this email!
Thank God!!!

The surgery took 5 hours, so it was a longer than expected surgery,
as there was a great deal of infection. My Father-in-law will go back to the doctor for a 1 week check up in a week's time.
