Like you, re: my post today, it broke my and my husband's hearts to see that lovely old church turned into an event center, gifts piled by the altar as everyone walked across...I was struck to see the iconic stained glass windows, Christ and Mary looking down on the party and dancing - but I am also glad that the beautiful building still stands.
