Feast of the Annunciation

What a different feast day of the Annunciation!
(The day that Jesus' Mother is told she will bear a child, Christ the Lord.)
We are all in such a strange space;
between denial I think and acceptance;
getting used to our situation in lockdown but our hearts ache
for the life we had before.
***
Please keep praying for my sister-friend; she and her family really need our prayers;
she has not had the baby yet but there are other things that were
unexpected and worrisome outside of the baby to be born.
Please please pray.
***
I had a really quite terrible sleep last night.
I am exhausted physically and emotionally to say the least.
Today marks exactly 4 weeks since my Husband began working from home
and the weekend will be one month since we were last in church, at a
restaurant and at a store, other than a corner store.
And it's been since the beginning of March since stores started having
empty shelves.  I hope I can continue to get grocery delivery
as we really don't want to be at any stores right now.
***
I am getting, DV, a big grocery delivery this Thursday.
Lots of things for Pascha and the 40 days of Pascha/Easter.
Cheese! Meat!
But I am also really excited about things in the order like finding
vegetable oil, tortilla chips, raisins, oatmeal.
I feel super blessed.
***
I never know if I will get a grocery delivery for the next week...
so I got a lot of things now... the meat will wait for us in the freezer...
***
Lord have mercy on us all!
And provide for us!
And protect heal and comfort us!

Glad you're getting some special items in your grocery delivery! May the power that is in the blood of the Lamb deliver many during this Passover season!

I hope all the groceries you were hoping to get in tomorrow's order do indeed come. Prayers for your sister/friend's safety and that of the baby.
