We watched liturgy this morning....
usually by this morning we are at our far-away church...
it was hard not to be there...
I listened to a lot of the liturgy on the couch, falling asleep
at the very end for a bit... I was so tired...
Then lunch, restorative, then prayers at 1 PM at
with prayers for the world and anointing for the healing service...
hearing Mother Christophora's joyful voice as
she prayed was a real balm for me...
Then we had a walk (we saw a very long freight train, it went on and on and on!)
and then got cleaned up and rested
and then dinner and then the evening service and then prayers
with Christ the Saviour about 9:30 as well...
so it was a peaceful day, one that was a blessing...
the songs for the Bridegroom Matins are so beautiful, they
stir the heart just hearing the melodies...
I must hold on to those melodies and think of Christ
in the midst of these holy unexpected difficult days
as we go towards Christ's Cross so that we can also go
to where He Rose again and rise with Him...
