We have a family tradition of having Mr Husband take the day off on
Bright Monday and so it was again this year.
We enjoyed lots of Paschal treats, rested, had a walk,
enjoyed a nice dinner...
I am re-reading a Miss Read book (News from Thrush Green) and
really enjoying it... makes me feel peaceful...
I am grateful that in the midst of everything, today was a gift.

I'm reading a Miss Read book too. It's 2 books in one called Early Days. The books are called A Fortunate Grandchild and Time Remembered. Miss Read wrote about her relationship with each of her grandmothers. Maybe you've seen or even have this book. I'm enjoying it on this rainy day.
