I managed to get the third and last section of my
blue checkered blanket done!
I will need to decide on the order of the three
sections, bind off
and choose a border colour...
It is going to come together to be lovely
and I am so thrilled by the progress!
I finished Luci Shaw's book,
it was a good read and I enjoyed it,
gave lots of food for thought and I appreciated the
words towards the end that
spoke to me of God's
all encompassing love.
I am still reading Willa Cather's Song of a Lark
and began re-reading Charles William's
*

Very nice! I need to knit a blanket, or at least start one to work on for the next several years :-)
I love the colours, a beautiful knit.
gorgeous blanket and for me that project went fast!! Lovely!
What a lovely blanket! Congrats for approaching the end of a project.
Looking forward to seeing how you piece the strips of your blanket together! You must be so excited to be so close to the finish line. :)

I think the colours of your blanket are so lovely!
It's looking great!
Great blanket! It looks like any way you choose to arrange them will work out great since it's such a seemless color palette.
Blanket is looking GREAT! I think this is a no-lose situation.....arrange them any way and they are going to look good.
What a fun blanket! I love the deep, saturated colors.
Love the colours in your blanket, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished article.
I forgot to check out your yarn-along post, Elizabeth - I found the post (and link) above about prayer interesting and then I forgot to scroll down! lol.
This blanket looks great. I shy away from crocheted items that need joining. I need to get over it because there are too many pieced together items I want to try to make. Yours looks so smoothly joined and beautifully knitted.
Thanks everyone!!!
Becki ~ no worries and thanks for your kind comments!!!
How exciting! I can't wait to see you put everything together! :D
