Sewing Together + Two Books

My blanket is almost totally sewn together!
I have a little bit left to knit on the bottom right
and then will make a boarder;
I am thinking, as I used 4 colours of yarn,
that each side of the border will be one of these
4 colours...

I finally finished Cather's Song of the Lark
and am enjoying the restful read of
*
I hope to get a lot done with week on
the blanket yet!!
Then I will have to think of what I will knit next...
I am thinking of doing a big
as the first one I made is very well loved.

What are you reading and creating?

Did you like Song of the Lark? I've got it on my long list but last time I tried a Willa Cather book it bored me to no end. Hmm. Laura Ingalls Wilder never gets old!

I love how many blankets you knit! It takes a lot of commitment, as I'm discovering! So exciting to see the blue blanket so near its finish. :)

Thanks everyone!

Paula ~ I am thinking of using the moss stitch for the border.

Amanda ~ the book is great, I think I like O Antonia and Death Comes to an Archbishop even better though.
