Sunday Tea

Cold creamed asparagus soup with leeks.

Chicken and cucumber sandwiches

Delicious strawberries and grapes.


Cookies for dessert with
both Chai Tea and Licorice Spice.

It was lovely.

I am thankful for the opportunity to celebrate
with a few friends.

Thanks Mat. Emily; it was lovely! Thanks Elizabeth - yes - all of my friends contributed to the meal and the fruit that came with was wonderful! The Strawberries were really good! And the grapes exquistly tart! :)

Thumbprints is one name for the jam-filled cookies...and they are so traditional and therefore seem perfect for a tea party.

Margaret, are you possibly thinking of the pastry that might be spelled bourek?
