In the morning of the Monday that we were in PEI
we went to the recreated Avonlea village
where a church, the Manse and other places
have been situated...
Preserved for history, many of these places/buildings were
were part of LM Montgomery's life.
Notice the yarn winder and spinning wheel,
with a sewing machine also.
I do hope to learn to use a sewing machine again
myself at sometime...

All things we still use today!
