Russian Dinner Party

Perogies, Borscht, Salad.

Dark red wine and water with lemon.

Lovely pastries with homemade peach filling.

Chi Tea in smooth blue and white tea cups.

It was such a joy to host.
I thank God for the opportunities to open my house
and be with good friends.

Truly it is a blessing to open you home and heart to friends. Sharing a meal - communion - non the less.

Your friends were a blessing to you Elizabeth as you were to them.

That is how it should be. I'll say Amen to that.

Thank your welcome, your graciousness, your invitation.

It looks lovely. The one thing I that makes me more inclined to give up my house with garden in the distant suburbs and move into town is the idea of having people to dinner. When I was young I dreamed of an elegant dining room but now I want to go back to the cosy kitchen dinner parties my mother had. Yours looks both cosy and elegant at the same time :)
