A quiet day

I have a wonderful day at home today.
One, I had so much encouragement from your comments one of my posts
from yesterday, thank you! I think I wrote back to each comment - I don't always
manage to reply to comments - just not that organized - but I do read each one!
[though I have gotten some troubling spam that I DELETE immediately
once I have been notified of it,
but obviously that is not any of my friend's, YOUR comments!]
Thank you so much.
Sometimes just being reminded that it is a common struggle,
not having friendships or friendships changing or how moving impacts
friendships...
****
So today was wonderful not only because of your comments but because
I got to have a day at home alone, where laundry and dishes got done,
my Mom helped me solve my dinner menu dilemma
(I realized that I could not make the ground lamb rolls, it was too
complicated/time consuming and I did not realize I had to do a slow
defrost for the phyllo dough.)
****
Tomorrow I am so excited to make Valentines day dinner for my
Sweetie Husband... it feels good to affirm our love in this practical way
and I have small surprise I got on Etsy for him.... I don't remember
celebrating Valentines day last year... the evening is the eve of a Feast day for us...
we are not able to got because of timing/needing a hotel (we are trying to
keep costs lower this year)/lack of energy to drive during rush hour, etc...
so... we will enjoy being home and having a special meal...
I am really excited...
***
I know for a lot of people Valentines Day is not a fun day,
for a variety of reasons; so if that is the case in your case,
I pray that it is a day that is not painful and that you will
have something nice to encourage you and God's peace to
comfort you....
 ***
On that note, I leave you with this beautiful song,
that I always find comforting...

Happy Valentines Day to you and your hubby! :) Glad you had a relaxing day at home. Those eggs look good! I might have that for supper! God bless! :)

Thank you for linking to "The Deer's Cry"! I learned it from this singer a couple of years ago and used to sing it every day, but then I stopped... it is wonderful to listen again and maybe I can start up my daily blessing from it again.

Thank you for posting that beautiful piece of music sung so wonderfully by Rita Connolly.
I hope you special Valentine's supper is/was delicious. ( It might be well into the evening when you read this).

Never having heard this song I was mesmerized by the voice/voices and harmony. Then I looked up the lyrics and followed along. What a beautiful song - in music and in word.
