A beautiful liturgy.
Somehow I am always really tired on Pentecost.
Nonetheless, I appreciated again the kneeling vespers
after the liturgy.

We had a tea today for our local priest and Matushka (priest's wife)
as we desired their counsel... it was a really nice time.
Trader Joes thankfully has great baked tea items
that worked perfectly as I did not have a chance to bake
like I had hoped to.

Our unbloggable is turning and we will see what God does.

Tomorrow we hope to go to liturgy for Holy Spirit Monday
and bring our elderly candle desk man....

Wishing you all a blessed Pentecost week!

Joyous Feast!
Prayers for you both continue.
You always set a beautiful table, and I especially love those unusual round napkins! A blessed Pentecost Week to you and your husband as well. All prayers for you both.
How wonderful to spend Pentecost Sunday with tea and friends. We attended services yesterday and the new priest assigned to our parish is moving here from New Jersey. We didn't stay for kneeling prayers as my husband was tired. wishing you a blessed week, Pat xx
Pentecost, the birthday of the church. We celebrated it a week before you did. As always such a beautiful, beautiful sanctuary and a lovely tea table. Those napkins were very pretty and so different. You truly honored your priest and his wife with your gracious hospitality and loving care to details. Praying you have turned the corner on your troubles and you will continue to know in your heart that God is with you in all things.
The Holy Spirit is descended!
Blessed feast, Elizabeth, to you and your husband.
