Christmas Reflections

I started my online course today! And in true student fashion, I now get to procrastinate. So far I have written a New Years letter (did not send one of family and friends in a few years) and am now here, writing this blog post.

I think the online course will be good though and I am going to work on it more tonight, to get a head start.

Meanwhile, here is a picture I took at the monastery:

I have a lot of memories from my time there over New Years.
I have to finish up some projects before I will write more on this.

Thank you! The monastary grounds are so well set up and beautifully situated - it would be hard to take a poor photo there!

It was very lovely. I think of it often and look forward to DV going back again... I have icons from them, including my first small mounted icon of the Theotokos... so I take a little bit of the monastery with me...

Such beauty! Thank you.

(on a side note, PBS you have to be in the US, but there is also Book Mooch which is international)

Enjoy the course.
I am glad you fond memories of time at the monastery.
I, too have good memories of my times there.

It has been 20 years since I lived in Europe. I cannot quite believe it.
