Letting Go

My Mother, as all good Mothers can do, zeroed in on my problem.

Elizabeth, you just need to let it go. Let the worry go. Trust God.

She is right.

I am learning what it means to be worried sick and I need to stop. I still get worried about my work, about loved ones, about anything chicken little would worry about.

So, I am going to try to be still more, inside. Breathe. Pray and practice living in the presence of God.

Life is hard. I would love to hear about other's struggles with worry and what they learned to do to learn to be at peace.

May God help us all!

Oh, I feel for you! Know about this only too well; it is an ongoing struggle. Your Mother is wise!
I have been told repeatedly to live in the moment (I know it's cliched, but I think there is a truth there). But it is a moment WITH GOd, IN God, and THROUGH GOd.
May He grant us all His peace, the peace that passes all understanding.

your welcome!! it is my birth verse, as my birth was tramatic and dangerous and my Mom had total peace and this verse was with her.

I know that my life is to be spent learning to live in this verse.

Lord help us!!

Interesting...your birth verse and your life verse. That makes it even more real to cling to and to claim.
