My birthday gift this year
I got earlier, washed and put away safely...
Mr. Husband and I found some vintage made in England
Christmas dishes...
*
Today is the beginning of my 38th year.
*
I am very aware that this is a happy
time in my life, a joyful season; but I am also aware
of the way that life has seasons...
*
And so I pray that God will fortify me for whatever is to come.
*
And for now, on this birth-day,
I seek to be thankful....

Happy Birthday!!! We are just a few weeks apart in age! How fun! Love your dishes! I am just now emerging from post-Christmas rest and have a week to get organized for the next school semester, etc. :)
Happy Birthday! Many Years
Happy Birthday, dear friend, and God grant you Many Years.
Your dishes are absolutely beautiful!
happy birthday dearie!! may your 2015 be blessed, happy and fun :)
Happy Birthday! I hope you will have a very blessed year!
God grant you many years! I love the dishes, there's nothing like English dishware. I was blowing up the picture, trying to see the name of the pattern. I see it's Spode (excellent choice), what's the pattern?
Thanks everyone!!! I am having a great birthday!
Nancy ~ thanks. I just love them and can't wait to use them soon!!! They are the Christmas Tree pattern that Spode started in the 1930s. The made in England ones are just wonderful!
Happy Birthday! Lovely dishes.
What beautiful plates! I ♥ that they are made in England, too. We got some pretty mugs as gift for Christmas, but they are made in China, and sadly already have chipped and cracked both of them, they're just not quality...
So you were born in 1977? My kids were just saying how we should say we are as old as we are from conception...not just our birth. Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday!!
God grant you many years! What lovely Christmas dishes.
Happy happy birthday Elizabeth! We are so close in age (I turned 38 in november) what a fun coincidence. :) May God bless and protect over you in the year to come.
Ps- those are gorgeous dishes!!!!!
What a beautiful gift! Happy Belated Birthday, Elizabeth! I hope you enjoy your Christmas dishes for many, many years to come! *hugs* :)
