In 3 hours

I will be writing my midterm; will be in class in 2 hours (lecture first then exam).

I have been reviewing my notes and studying the texts for a few days now. I will be glad when this is over.

Of course the class is not over.

To be honest, I am spiritually weak still and feel really destabilized by not knowing what my future is! But at least I realize how I am feeling. This can lead to prayer, repentance and hope.

All prayers invited for my midterm exam! Works by John Donne, George Herbert, Francis Bacon, Thomas Hobbes, and Ben Jonson are all possible exam questions. There are 3 essay questions and I have to write on two of them.

I have been taking pictures of various icons in my apartment and I hope to post them soon!

I pray that it went well. Those spring/summer courses are very compressed..things coming so fast...know the feeling.

I hope the exam went well and you are right about spiritual (and physical) weakness keeping one in a condition of hope and repentance. It is the only way to look at it. It makes one grateful and is a real remedy against sin even if not the happiest situation to be in of itself. I have to take an anti-cancer drug for the next five years and I have noticed that as it reminds me of weakness it also keeps me repentant and vigilant.

Hope you did as well as you think on your exam. As an old English major who took many such exams if you think you did well then you most likely did.

I know you are struggling with many things in your life. Rest assured God is with you and there are many praying for you.

Thanks Elizabeth!

and Nov - thank you very much. These days do seem rather overwhelming at times; I am greatful for each time someone reminds me that God is with me and has not and will not abandon me...

My thanks.

You are in my prayers to Elizabeth. Praying for you, for you "now" that you will know God's blessing, presence, forgiveness and love - in short that you will know God.
