So we recently learned that our priest and his Matushka are officially retiring next year. It's not surprising (given their age) but at the same time sudden.
This priest has been our spiritual father and confessor for 10 years. It's a big change. A loss. Not knowing yet who will replace this special couple.
This year has been one of a lot of change, of loss.
Well. That's today's update.
I am reminded that God is full of mercy...🙏

Our church has gone through several priests for one
reason or another. It is a difficult process and finding
a new one hasn't been easy either. We are getting a new
priest in February and God willing will be able to keep
him and his young family. Keep the faith.
My heart goes out to you. I have a hard time adjusting to change and this is a big change! May the Mother of God be with you all!
How nice though for the priest and his wife to be so dearly loved by their flock!
