I did not sleep well last night. I am thankful that I got through this day. I saw three people I know when walking downtown - one from each of my last two jobs - and someone from my current life.
I originally hoped to go to a presanctified liturgy tonight. I knew when I kept waking up that it was not to be. Tonight has to be a quiet night.
A bit of house cleaning, dinner making and that is it. I am thankful for friends and for you, my blog reader friends.

the winds are quite something! I had my window and sliding door open earlier... was so hopeful of spring... it is coming! it just will have a few cold dips along the way i think...
Hang in there - prayers to you. I've also been struggling with sleep but thankfully caught up last night - felt refreshed.
I love the simplicity of your blog entries. They are good reminders to me of the necessity of simplicity. Just when I think that may happen, something comes along to change it.

I made it to services because our Met. was visiting for the first time.
I have found this week to be a bit more difficult. I've had a sinus headache for 4 days now, and last night was no fun w/out meds and food prior to all those prostrations. And then I had another bad night of sleep. UGH. Even so, I'm glad I went but I've been so very tired all day today too.

Mimi - thank you. it's a tough call... my home church only has presanctifieds on fridays so i am committed to that; but wednesdays are at the Cathedral i can walk to, so these i do not feel as 'obligated' as it were, to go... though i do want to go to some... it is hard with work etc.
