Thankfulness

Quickly a few things I am thankful for.

1. We got our loveseat, pictures hopefully later, you can see it on my IG account.

2. house is picked up/tidied

3. Dishes washed, dishwasher running

4. I hope to bake tomorrow.

5. While I have felt like everything is very rushed, I had some moments in our chapel/library that were peaceful.

6. Good books to read.

7. God's mercy for a new day.

Bless  you all, each and every one

The hum of a dishwasher is such a homey sound. God bless your day, dear Elizabeth!

Good things to be thankful for! I went out in the slightly snowy morning and watered the chickens and horses. Those are not really "my" chores, but I enjoy helping my kids and grandkids. After many years on our little farm with lots of animals to take care of, I miss going outside to do that sort of thing. I felt thankful for the peaceful work. Have a blessed day!

That's a great list. Especially #6 and #7.

I am thankful for the beautiful fall weather, the trees blowing across the sunlight, dancing light across the table. Yesterday’s rain, cooling things down. Working washer and dryer, clean clothes. Cheddar cheese, coffee. The little sleep I did get last night. Fresh apples. The Ohio Pen Show this weekend! A safe neighborhood to live in, working vehicles. Socks and shoes.

When thou hast given thanks for every blessing sent,
what time doth there remain for murmur or lament?
—motto on Grandma’s wall.

I have been feeling rushed, too, this month. It's such a relief to be in church from time to time, where one can forget time.
