Our Hope

Some thoughts that I wrote before

we became homeowners and are in the two weeks of busy 

{preparing our new place to move in and moving in!} ~ Enjoy!

It is the night before we close on our condo.
I was sleeping till about 1:30 AM until I was woken suddenly.
We did our evening prayers for everyone last night and
I stood there in front of our wedding icons and Cross
and asked Jesus to go with us to our new home,
to bless it and to have it be a place of prayer and healing for us.
Ever since I was given the thought of how
 I want to create a home for Jesus to be in,
I am a little more calm, a little more centered.
If only I can keep my focus on Him and grow closer. 

Warm Wishes on this {US} Thanksgiving

Wishing everyone in the States a
peaceful Thanksgiving,
with safe drives, warmed hearts and
thanksgiving to God.

Prayers for all those who are
grieving the loss of a loved one,
the aches that come out especially during
Holidays.

 

Sometimes it is a long time coming,
the wished for day when things seemed righted in our lives.
Where ever you are this Holiday season,
I pray that you can feel that God is your true Home
and that you can have rest in Him.
That you can have comfort in the Holy Trinity as
the Community that we all are wishing for...

Monday in Late August

 

Noah made it though surgery.
*
I am still recovering from the move and
have been weary.
*
My Orthoman is taking good care of my Cleo.
*
I had dinner with an old friend tonight.
I really miss having a home with
all my icons and dishes.
Camping out at my apartment for the time being
is necessary but not what I would want to do
long term.
*
I just want to feel settled and at home again.
Wedding in 20 days.
Soon I will be in my new home
with my beloved Orthoman.
