Hello, insomnia my friend LOL

Cutest bows for a young girls gift :)

I  know, many would say no screen time when having insomnia.

However, I know what helps or does not for me personally.

So I don't forget...

My Grandma told me she picked up on the 'free table' this BOOK by

this lady, a writer and speaker, who years ago my Grandma heard in person.

I appreciated the webite of this author because she's very simple, direct and knows

her mission: to encourage other Sisters in Christ.

My Grandma said that she and her friends used to say, that is "something that

only Liz would say" something that she phrased in a unique way.

I get my love of baking in part from my Grandma; she is making a cake soon

for her prayer and care group.

Before my memory loss, I would call her regularly once a week.

I have been much more sporadic and unable to do that consistantly since.

But I can still hope for better.

Life is not easy and it only gets more busy.

***

This season of Christmas is especially busy because I have so many

events at my house.

Just doing the presents took a while,

and I took apart part of a closet that was too over messy.

My Husband could tell the difference.

***

"Mount Laundry" was scaled once again.

***

Grief is exhausting.

It keeps me awake.

***

I know I need some serious rest.

I know I am at risk of getting sick again,

no question.

***

Thankfully we are staying local this weekend for church.

But Monday is Theophany; hopefully I can go to that as planned.

***

I am so glad for tea and hot drinks.

***

May God have mercy on us all.
