Monday after the Sunday of the Cross

 

My spiritual father said to me once
that it is a blessing just to be
on the Ladder.

Soon it will be the
Sunday of St. John Climacus.

It seems that Lent often is a time
when my ideals of
how I would like to do Lent
don't fully happen.
So instead I do what I can.

Tonight I am glad that I got my dishes done.
Small prayers.
Candles lit.
Hope in God's mercy...
