I also knit a very warm heavy scarf for
a long time member of my church in Ottawa.
It is for the coldest of winter days.

The bag looks great! I'm so proud of you for learning new techniques and continuing on with your knitting!! Yay!!
Your bag is wonderful!
Have fun with your knitting :-)
I love the bag! And that scarf looks wonderfully thick and squishy. :)
Love the bag ... and GKC! How I wish we could do a virtual knitting get-together so we could all swap knitterly and literary thoughts over a glass of wine in our pjs!
Join my Ravelry group if you get a chance ... we could do virtual chats there.
Hugs!
Good going!
What a beautiful bag!!!! You should be very proud.
And that thick scarf looks so cozy!
The bag turned out great!
Have you ever tried this pattern for your dish cloths? http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/grandmothers-favorite
It's made the same way as you are already, but might help your edges look more even. Another idea is to slip the first stitch on every row.
We enjoy Chesterton but have yet to read Orthodoxy. Congrats on the finished projects...your knitting is looking good. :)
Great job on the bag!!
