Wine and Chocolate during the Paschal season.
I made a cake.
The trick with a cake mix is to add each ingredient and gently mix
before adding the next item.
The result is more soft and moist.
The result. A cake that went to church and was loved by many.
Spring is here. These are flowers near where I live.

The ckae was really good. I can attest to that.
Wine and chocolate - a perfect match especially if it is a raspberry dessert wine - but that red looks good to Elizabeth.
I love those flowers. Thanks for sharing them. Spring is such a wonderful time of year. The colours are so vibrant.
Thanks so much Deb! A few years ago, when I was preparing my past apartment for house blessing, I made a cake this way. It was the best cake I have ever made...

Hi Micheal; thanks! I love a very slightly bitter red with chocolate... yum... thank you for liking the flowers!
A slightly bitter red wine with chocolate. Yes. Both are good, chocolate and red wine.
I like the full bodied fruity reds and dark chocolate.
A comfy chair, your cat, good book, red wine and chocolate. A nice way to relax.
Thanks for sharing these pics. They are nice!
thank you so much Pres Kathy!
I am glad to see you haven't abandoned healthy eating during the festal season... red wine and dark chocolate are such excellent sources of iron, zinc and all manner of necessary, nourishing trace elements :-)
Miss Darcy thanks you very much for the compliment and wishes to send the kindest felicitations of Pascha to Miss Cleo.
