Oh, Most Holy Theotokos, pray unto God for us and save us!
One of my favorite prayers has a piece that I love: "Under thy tender compassion we run, O Mother of God, reject not our prayer in our trouble, but deliver us from harm, only pure, only blessed one.
Most Glorious Ever-Virgin, Mother of Christ our God, present our prayer to thy Son and our God and pray that through thee He may save our souls."
My parish, Protection of the Holy Virgin, just celebrated its 75th anniversary. So the commemorative prayers and hymns are fresh in my heart and mind. Most Holy Theotokos, save us!
It is one of my favorites as well. A blessed Feast!
