Saturday ~ a busy day

What a week it's been.
While many of my friends are still struggling in terms of work,
one of them did not lose their job.
All of this struggle, it sure reminded me of my own past struggles.
Different companies are already extending their
work-from-home polices because of the pandemic.
I have a feeling that my Husband may be working from home
for a good while yet, beyond this month.
We are dreaming of being able to travel, at least by car.
Of being able to live normal lives again, or at least somewhat.
But I guess no one knows.
May God help us and have mercy.

  1. It's frustrating this not knowing how long this virus will be around and how soon life will return to normal. In spite of all that there are bright spots and I guess we just have to treasure them all the more.

  2. Mmmm... yummy food, Elizabeth. I am reminded that I have the makings for chicken pot pie. Tomorrow's probably my best day this week as it's going to start heating up here! I can't fathom normal yet. We'll be continuing in the vein of avoiding the virus as DH is hopefully going to have knee surgery within a month. I don't know how long after that we'll feel confident doing something as simple and wanted as attending church in person. Our little church is going to try in-house services in two more weeks. I suspect it will be a small gathering of younger families.

Becki, yes it's going to be a while before anything is 'normal' again... may God bless you both in this time and protect you!
