(140) A Busy Monday at Home

I did an overhaul, a big reorg of my craft closet.
Took most of it out.
Have a box of things to give away now.
All the stationary I found at the VNA in October is put away.
I cleaned up the 3 drawer organizer pictured above,
filled it will all of my stamps (an exercise in doing a live puzzle) and
then was putting it on the shelf and the entire middle drawer fell out and crashed
to the ground, severely cracking the bottom.
Instead of crying I marched to the laundry room to get the duct tape
and fixed it up really well.  It works good as new.
And all the stamps are there now.  I lost a lot of time but am so glad
that I persevered!
That (re-homing my stamps) emptied 3 other boxes and made space also in the
coffee table (with 6 cubbyholes) for games and other things.
And I finally found my sewing tall ruler.
It was against the back wall on the very bottom of the closet....
glad I never bought a new one, I knew I had not lost it!
I think my Husband will be quite happy.
It was so much work!
I enjoyed my Godiva hot chocolate; it's creaminess was just perfect.
I was very pleased.
I am still processing our unbloggable (had a great text chat with my sister-friend too)
and feel drained by my processing-work but
also that I made a LOT of progress today.
We are having leftovers tonight and I am so glad for all that was done
today, God be praised, I could not have done it without His mercy.
May God have mercy on us and help us...

  1. Congratulations on your hard work! I love rubber stamps and have several of them. Unfortunately they spend most of their time in the box.
