I was able to get a new doctor's appointment for my eyes.
And he takes our insurance. Whew.
My eyes are only getting worse - now I understand what glare means.
A friend was over standing near to me, and the window shade 7+ feet behind her
was up and the light from the window glared out in a way that somehow came
in front of my friend and made her hard for me to see clearly.
The halos are in light and dark now.
I am glad I am getting a second opinion.
My appointment is this Thursday, late morning and is near
to my library in NYC so that's lovely.
Trusting God in this....
and trusting in God's goodness,
His deep, unfailing goodness.... and love...
Elizabeth, I'm glad that you were able to get an appointment this week. And glad they take your insurance!!
ReplyDeletePrayers that this new appointment will be productive and helpful for you, my friend.

ReplyDeleteSo glad you are able to get to a new Dr.
ReplyDeletePraying that all goes well and that you get some much needed answers. 🙏💕🙏
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry that you are having this worry, Elizabeth. Praying tonight for you. For peace and for a helpful doctor's visit on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you were able to get a new doctor. My Mom needs a new one (or at least a second opinion) but keeps being told she can't. Her doctor changed her blood pressure medicine (which she only needs because of her arthritis medicine) just for something to do! And she keeps cutting back on her Tylenol 3 (the only thing Mom takes for her arthritis pain). Right now they have only given her 20 pills until her next doctor's appointment. Mom's prescribed to take 6 a day. Not sure what kind of math the doctor uses, but that's not enough medicine.
ReplyDeleteSending lots of prayers for Thursday.
