The round oval picture of needlework my Great Grandma W. gave my +Aunt Karen
for her wedding... Aunt Karen gave it to me a year or more before she died...
My buffet with icon lamps (called lampadas) lit...
Cleo on top of my chair, as per usual... she snuck a bit of my pizza at lunch!
I got special ice cream, a pint of it pound cake flavour, for our dear friends
coming to visit this weekend...
Weeping Willow like cherry blossom tree that I mentioned ...
All pictures of my walk today while talking with C. on the phone
via headphones... don't worry, I was careful when crossing the road!
The beautiful row houses I was telling C about just before I called a taxi...
Oh my! All the flowering trees! And you in sandals! Glory to God for springtime - and ice cream :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely trees! It looks like spring there, and here we’re headed for summer!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful walk you enjoyed! Have a wonderful time with your dear guests and don't work too hard. Blessings to you, Pat
ReplyDeleteSooo good to catch up with you Elizabeth... and see LOVELY spring unfurling where you are--OH, the BLOSSOMS! So much enjoyed this walk-about with you. Ice cream...mmm... We've been eating some ice cream too. I can only eat ice cream in spring/summer, when it's warm... I just can't eat it when it's winter and cold... LOL! So good with the riding path for cyclists. We have lots of those here--everyone can share the road. :) Wishing you a BLESSED spring, my friend! :))) ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteLucky you! Spring has arrived. We're still waiting here.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful walk! We don't even have the beginnings of leaves here. Enjoy your company! :)
