and we had quite the day.

 4. It was really fun being in NYC and walking around!
5. Heat in houses! it's supposed to get cold tomorrow!
6. Nice hot mugs of tea!
7. That my Husband and I make a good team and work things out. :)

We have a new silly but frustrating unbloggable challenge;
we are really grateful that we have so much support and will be fine.
My Husband tells me this quotation often when speaking of our new unbloggable challenge:
This may seem harsh but if you knew the story, my Husband is actually
encouraging charity in the face of what has transpired.

I hope that each of you are given some encouragement today!
God bless you!

  1. Love the photo's and the quote. I've heard a few variations over the years. My daughter is a senior Medic in the N.H.S. and her comment on her daily work life is...."I'm just dealing with people who don't think at the moment mum." Love my girl.

  2. God Bless you both as you deal with some things... I admire the injection of charity into your situation. Being from a place of love and charity, and feeling Jesus loving and guiding us--we can step out of the "dark," the frustration, etc. :) So much to be thankful for! And very much enjoying your thankful lists! I used to blog thankful things every day in November, but have slipped this year... :/ Glad you have had some fun times in between it all this week. We've had frost here this week, and it's been very chilly! I'm considering getting and extra bathroom to wear around the house to keep extra warm... a true "housecoat"! LOL... Be keeping warm and joyful there! With LOVE, In Christ, Tracy ((HUGS))

  6. You wise words are so uplifting to those in need of cheering up. So happy to hear you enjoyed your day out in NYC and hopefully you and your dear husband are tucked away in your warm and cozy home for a winter's evening. It's gotten chilly in the evenings here in SoCal if you can believe that! My best to you dear Elizabeth. Pat xx
