Had a hard night last night,
finally iced my foot again at 1 AM
and was able to sleep.
I got a hold of the doctor today
and he is seeing me first thing tomorrow morning.
The hope is that I can get the cast OFF
and a boot/air cast ON.
I am still having more swelling in toes/foot/ankle
but am being more quick to use ice,
which is the only thing that is working
and I elevated my foot big time again today,
with tons of pillows.
It was a peaceful day over all today
and for that I thank God.
I have medical transport for tomorrow and D.
who is our gal-friday lady who we hired for this week
is going with me and Husband will be a phone call away,
working from home,
which is all of a few miles from the doctor.
33 stairs out the door and to the sidewalk is why we are
finally getting professionals to help,
now that I had their name and number for this help.
Of course I ask prayers
and ask esp. for mercy for all those reading this
and all those who have/are/will be praying for me.
Also tomorrow is my Grandma's 87th birthday!
I hope to call her tomorrow!
Prayers for a productive and helpful visit to the doctor, and birthday blessings for your dear Grandmother!
ReplyDeletePrayers for smooth moving, Elizabeth. I hope you get a boot. I think you might make some bone broth or buy some and allow that foot to be nourished so it can mend.
ReplyDelete33 stairs. 33 years ,walking on this earth, to bring us great hope for all that crushes, twists and shatters us on our journey.May you know His tender, healing mercy on your journey to the doctor's office.God bless you both.
