We finally made it back to our far-away church
and I did Sunday School.
14 kids!
It went really well, I was super pleased.
It was a sunny but cold day and so many of us were just
happy to be there seeing each other....

So.
Cleo.
She is having some incontinence issues.
Again today, last one 2 days ago.
Super troubling.
Vet appointment tomorrow at 3 PM.
Prayers welcome!
*
We prayed about this in our evening prayers and I have
more peace about it.
Of course now I will have to work to keep the peace.
That's how it is, I find.

I am slowly reading
Still on Homily #1.
It's so clear, lucid and makes things
understandable about the spiritual life
without having me feel discouraged about
the state of mine, which is nothing to brag about,
I have long realized now.
Anyway, I hope I get to read a bit more of this,
so that I can absorb the clarity and peace I find in his words.

And that is Lent day 28!
Awww, I hope the appointment with Cleo goes well. It's so hard when our pets become sick or act a little differently than normal. (We've gone through illness/old age issues with a cat and know the heartbreaking feeling.)
ReplyDeleteI'll click over to the homilies. Thanks! Oh, Cleo! I hope she checks out okay.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, Elizabeth.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about and for Cleo. I hope her problems have an easy medicinal remedy that the vet can dispense. Caring for her is part of your Lenten podvig, isn't it? God bless you!
Oh! Well, that Amazon link was to a very expensive edition, but I found that you can buy another print edition elsewhere:
