This round of pantry work
is almost done...
After hearing of possible mice in our place
I've been working hard on getting
everything in glass or really durable plastic.
The items to the left are what is remaining
to be done...
In the back are my dried fruits, left side,
half gallons of chocolate chips (still in bags),
spices in front...
A shelf of flours and sugars...
GF on left, regular flours on right...
I've been really wanting to bake more
with all the things God has blessed us with
and that are in our pantry!
I was so glad to see that these cute canisters
were made in the USA.
Perfect for teas, of which I have quite a lot, admittedly...
I ran out of the cute black labels and will
re-label some things once I have more...
I would like to do cute labels like this gal did.
My teas are mostly, the loose ones that is,
in the vintage glass as darker will preserve them better....
Pastas...
Jams and PB :)

And that is our pantry so far!
I am very grateful for it and
for how easy it is to use and see
everything!
Very neat - it looks great!
ReplyDeletePantry looks great!
ReplyDeleteWonderful organization! I just spent this morning cleaning a 'mess' left by a little critter. We had forgotten one small cupboard in the corner and the mouse found a box of oatmeal!!! Lesson learned! ...and now we need to buy more oatmeal AND a glass container to put it in!
ReplyDeletehow tidy and I love the glass ware to store everything. We had mice in the attic and we had to hire someone :( We tried with traps but they just kept coming. I hope you do not not have mice and if you do it's just one wee little critter.
ReplyDeleteImpressive! Can you come to my house and organize my pantry? :)
ReplyDeleteI would so love a pantry space like yours - it looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteall your jars with black labels look so nice. I see you have loose leaf decaf black. Where did you get it and do you like it? Always on the hunt for the best affordable.... :)
ReplyDeletethanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteM-J: oh no about your mice issues :((((
Karen: oh dear, how disappointing about the mice in the attic!!
Michelle ~ well, I have more work here to do :)
Heather: I got my decaf black tea at bridgehead in Ottawa. Looks like it is about 9.95 for 100 grams on their website; I got it in person, don't remember if it was the same price or a little less. http://www.bridgehead.ca/collections/tea/Decaf ... I like that their teas are fair trade and organic! and it's a local Ottawa chain :)
Thanks everyone for your encouragement in this project! It's taken many days and hours to do but I am thankful that I am able to do it!
