I am doing a series of yellow dish clothes...
The kitchen cotton is such a great yarn to knit with!
I am just loving my re-read of Elizabeth Goudge's
I read part of it after dinner to Mr. Husband...he was
laughing and delighted.
Well written words carved carefully but with lightness
and characters who just delight.
Classic Good Elizabeth Goudge.

ReplyDeleteI am still knitting blanket squares and baby hats for Syrian refugees; I a trying a new hat pattern using a set of double-pointed needles :-)
There is something so soothing to knit a washcloth! They are quick and instant fun :)
ReplyDeleteI found an Amazon Copy!
ReplyDeleteVery cheery yellow! My oldest is knitting us some bright new washcloths out of cotton yarn.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth @ TGW: I have a small stack of squares and a few other things for L.I.L.Y., but I haven't mailed them yet. It seems to be an intimidating (and expensive) process.
I'm going to have to look that book up... I'm still knitting copycat washcloths while at the river with my kids. Hope you're having a good week, Elizabeth!
ReplyDeletexo Lisa :)
I have not read that one - got to remember it!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth Goudge - yes. A wonderful writer; have you ever read her autobiography, The Joy of the Snow? She's my favorite, in case I haven't already said so ten times already. ;-)
