I made it home.
It was tiring but I made it.
Am happy to be home.
My Mom and I compared rings;
pretty close in size;
a long awaited change;
I am in the middle of the life changing
event of becoming a bride.

Beautiful tulips! are they in Ottawa or at home? I particularly like the broken (streaky) ones in the middle.
ReplyDeleteOttawa :)
ReplyDeleteFunny how 'home' can mean several different places...
ReplyDeleteyes... and we have different homes it seems at different times in our lives... Ottawa is home, my parent's place in MI is home, later God willing Orthoman and I's new place will also become home...
ReplyDeleteWow...our tulips bloomed BEFORE Pascha! ♥ Enjoy your time with your mom. I can imagine you and her looking at your rings, comparing them. I hope you have a wonderful feast of the Ascension!!!
ReplyDeleteI had one tulip bloom this year, late, so I could put it on the grave of our sweet cat we lost a few weeks ago. It felt like God was with us.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you aren't sleeping well. Hugs and prayers. Glad you are home.
Christ is Ascended!!! The tulips are so beautiful! I am so excited for you dear Elizabeth! Enjoy and cherish each moment with your mother. Keeping you and Orthoman in my prayers. May you have a blessed feast of the Ancension!!! Hugs and lots of love to you! <3
