We looked up my sister's flight on British Air:
The flight says "departed"
so they should be in the air to Chicago right now!!

My parents and I are enjoying time this morning;
I continue to enjoy my Dad's teasing;
he said if I tried to reassure you all that he gives hugs
that I would merely make him look worse :)
Lots of laughter here...
They wish they could adopt my friends who need
more TLC at Christmas...
I am very blessed.
God willing I will see my sister soon!
Very excited.
These are my new slippers from my Oma;
she does such fine work
and she is 101!
She knit the white socks too.
She turns 102 tomorrow!
Godspeed your sister and brother-in-law!
ReplyDelete(Did you see the news about Lucia?)
I got a little pang of excitement just hearing about *your* sister's plane being on its way! I also have lots of family arriving this week. One child so far, five more coming today (counting all the generations). Busy, busy.
ReplyDeleteMy mother used to knit slippers just like that for us. They were the only thing she ever knitted. Seeing them reminds me of my long-ago Christmases...
Such good news about your sister and brother in law, God grant them a smooth journey home :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your Oma's wonderful slippers and socks; please say Hi and Happy Birthday to her for me !
I know by now you are all enjoying each other's company- and I am so happy for you :)
