Really liked this post by Fr. Stephen ;
It is a daily battle to live in the presence of God
to remember God
to live in the hope of His reality.
*
I think one of the lessons I am supposed to learn
during this time
is that what I need will be given to me
and that I have to live in the present.
*
One of my prayers still is
Lord I believe, help my unbelief.
*
I am grateful that God accepts this prayer.
*
More french work today;
and job application work;
house work;
and I am hoping to get out and take a picture or two,
though it is cloudy at present...
*
Wishing all a good day
as we fight to live in the reality of the current moment
that right now
God is with us.
Hope you have a wonderful day! Lord I believe, help my unbelief. Those are powerful words. I always think about what I need to do tomorrow, but we must rejoice in the day the Lord gave us! HUgs!
ReplyDeleteI find living in the present very difficult.
ReplyDeletePlease thank Cleo for her cuddles and lovely germ-free licks.
Thank you for posting this link; I usually neglect to read Fr Stephen unless someone reminds me. And this article was so pertinent--well, of course!--but added to everything else that has been going on....anyway, I am also going to use it in a blog soon, I hope.
ReplyDeleteI think that is one of the most powerful prayers in the entire Bible, and it speaks to me mightily.
ReplyDeletewhat Mimi said.
ReplyDeletecontinued prayers for you. Hugs for Cleo!
