I am glad to know you here! :) Thank you for your prayers!

ElizabethD- with pleasure - I will do so soon - my email address is a yahoo CA one with my blog name (roosjeblog). Thanks for your kind thoughts. I am so glad also about the Miss Read books, yes, I think I have a treasure trove by having them to read and re-read!

Lisa R - yes, sadly I agree with you about Tasha T - I like her art and the photographs but she was quite confused on many levels it seems. Lord have mercy!

I understand what you are saying and I struggle with this too. In my case though, I have gotten out a lot lately, so I am not sure what is going on, but I understand and have experienced what you are speaking of as well! <3 elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00962587884124992942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18568699.post-73269228125890665852018-10-16T14:40:37.450-04:002018-10-16T14:40:37.450-04:00I have two of Tasha Tudor's books and I was po...I have two of Tasha Tudor's books and I was pondering about her myself. I almost decided to give the books to the library because I was finding them slightly depressing. I had read them years ago and had recently gotten copies for myself through Amazon (used copies). The photography is gorgeous, but I guess I also noticed that her life seemed so "self" centered. She seems to worship "living life as she wants to" above all else. She never comes right out and says anything about her belief in God, but I get the feeling she's very much a Universalist. Although she had so many interesting hobbies and such a pretty little farm, it all seems so empty without God. Anyway, that was just my impression.
The ailment you mention sounds familiar to me. I have problems with depression and anxiety and I think it really does manifest itself in a feeling of low-grade illness. I find I feel better when I get out and about and get "out of myself". I need to distract myself from my own thoughts, which seem to wander into negative areas if I don't crack the whip at them now and then to keep them in line, lol.
Bible reading, an uplifting movie or book. Those help a lot. Living alone, the quiet can get to be too much sometimes. Something I'm working on, too!
God bless, sister! I said a prayer for you, Elizabeth, when I was finished reading.

Seeing your blanket you're knitting I'm remembering how I first found you. It was in the weekly Yarn Along on Ginny Sheller's Small Things blog. :) I knew it had moved once upon a time (which is when I stopped doing it, I think), but I went looking for it just now and I see Ginny is doing it again - monthly this time. Anyway... your knitted blanket transported me back to when I enjoyed that weekly posting. I see she's discovered Miss Read, too! :) Beckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16940604077427078249noreply@blogger.com
